Jennifer graduated from the University of Westminster in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) in Homeopathy, having previously studied Social Anthropology (BA Uni. of Sussex) and Latin American Studies (MA Uni. of London). After giving birth to a son at home in 2008 and taking time for maternity leave, Jennifer started working as a homeopath at the Islington Chiropractic Clinic in 2009 (now moved to Clerkenwell). Since qualifying in homeopathy she has deepened her studies to specialise in treating mothers and children and currently coordinates the North London Arnica Parent’s Support Group for Promoting Natural Immunity. She has recently discovered a passion for teaching parents how to use homeopathy to treat their family’s acute ailments and runs workshops on subjects ranging from how to use homeopathy at home, to yoga for post natal recovery.
Since 1995 Jennifer has also been a volunteer at the Crossroads Women’s Centre in Kentish Town (London’s oldest and most active women’s centre), where since 2006, she has been coordinating a homeopathy clinic for asylum seekers and other trauma survivors. Previously she was involved in many different aspects related to the daily running and development of the Centre.
After 10 years of yoga practice, Jennifer’s passion for yoga had grown so much that she decided to train with Dr. Elena Voyce of Teach Yoga and gained the Yoga Alliance 200 qualification in October 2012. Elena Voyce is a renouned therapeutic yoga teacher, who uses her in-depth anatomical understanding from her previous career as a forensic doctor to help people learn how to use yoga to heal themselves and others. Under her guidance, Jennifer has devoloped a special interest in yoga for post-natal recovery. With these new skills, Jennifer enjoys combining her passions for teaching and practicing homeopathy and yoga under one roof whilst also juggling her many other skills to help Charlotte run the business of Clerkenwellbeing.
