Acupuncturist, Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Nutritional Therapist
Gulshan is a qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and nutritional therapist. She has had a life-long interest in understanding how the body works and how to be healthy.
Her extensive education and wide range of experience in clinical practice has enabled her to convert her passion into a way of helping others.
In 2009, she received a Nutritional Therapist / Naturopath diploma from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), before gaining a First Class BSc in Acupuncture and an MSc in Chinese Herbal Medicine from Middlesex University.
She has also trained with Virginia Doran, an experienced international teacher and practitioner of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and holds a Certificate in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
Gulshan worked for several years at the well-known and respected Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine as well as the Whittington Hospital Pain and Maternity clinics, treating hundreds of patients with a diverse range of health issues.
In 2013, she had an opportunity to gain clinical practice at the Wujin TCM Hospital in Changzhou, China. This invaluable experience gave her insight into the integration of TCM with Western medicine.
Gulshan has treated many chronic conditions (e.g. systemic Lupus and MS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia) and conditions like diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, digestive disorders and menstrual issues. Her particular skill lies in treating any type of pain with a particular focus on utilising acupuncture based on the Tung and Balance Method and blood pricking to clear deep-rooted stagnation.
By combining acupuncture with herbal medicine, nutritional and supplemental therapy, her treatments help patients achieve wellness by getting their bodies to heal from the inside out.
Gulshan’s personal motto is: “Don’t suffer in silence and don’t allow symptoms to fester and become worse over time. Get the help you need and get it quickly so that you can re-gain the stability of your health and wellbeing so you can enjoy life to the fullest.”
Gulshan is a fully licensed insured member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP).
What Gulshan’s clients say:
“I have fibromyalgia and severe joint hypermobility. I am always in constant pain and have tried everything to alleviate it. The acupuncture with Gulshan is the only treatment that has not just alleviated the pain but made it disappear. The 12 Magic Points treatment is a miracle. After the first treatment I was able to move more freely. I have had treatment for a year and don’t get the pain to the same level as before. The dizziness, fatigue & excruciating muscle pain is gone. I am able to concentrate better and when I walk, I feel freer than before where I could feel every movement and every step was hard work. I highly recommend acupuncture, the 12 Magic Points and the bloodletting.”

“I have been suffering from severe neck pains since 2010. I attended a number of physic appointments and scans but the pain continued. When I visited the Whittington Hospital Pain Management, they referred me for acupuncture – the best referral I have ever been given. The acupuncture treatments made such a huge impact on my life. The neck pain slowly began to disappear over time all thanks to the acupuncturist, Gulshan. I would definitely recommend her.”

“I came to Gulshan with a pain in my neck and shoulders which was really preventing me from moving and doing my job. I was in agony! After one session with her the pain was reduced by 60%! Over the next sessions the pain went down significantly with each session and I regained my confidence in being able to do my job comfortably. Most of all I really appreciated the warmth and cheerfulness with which Gulshan went about treating me. She explained clearly what she was doing and what effects I could expect from the treatment, and without drugs! I felt very nurtured and cared for. I cannot recommend her highly enough; she was a lifesaver at a difficult time.”
