Ross graduated from the London School of Sports Massage in 2018, and has been trained in a number of techniques such as Myofascial Release, Soft Tissue Release, Neuromuscular and Trigger Point Therapy. He regularly works with a number of sports clubs and international athletes to ensure they are at their best for major competitions.
It’s Ross’ running background that drew him to Soft Tissue Therapy and Sports Massage, Ross is a competitive runner, having represented his county a number of times, including winning national medals, as well as competing in both national and international competitions. He trains between 12-14 times a week and therefore knows the importance of ensuring that any pains and niggles are dealt with before they become more serious. This is shown in his approach to determine the root cause for any pain and take a holistic approach. This involves looking at the whole body rather than just the problem area, to ensure that the problem does not reoccur in the future. Alongside this, Ross will always work on rehabilitation plans, and looking at a clients overall lifestyle to establish the best path to staying injury free. He also coaches a number of athletes for a range of distances up to the Marathon, and has a level 1 qualification in Sports Nutrition and therefore is able to advise on best practices for keeping fit and healthy.
